Due to the fast fashion, people end up a lot of unwanted clothes inlandfill, it cause the air and water pollution which are life- threatening environmental concerns. My idea is to reuse the function of clothes, which means recycled the old clothes to create a new products. For example, making the bear by the clothes waste.

 

The building located in Lace Market, Nottingham where surrounding area are lace warehouses and factories in the past. However, most of the industrial building at that area is reused to residential. My idea is to reuse the old industrial building in the UK, to recreate a new function for its.

 

Exihibition will be created as a main point to show the art of recycled clothes. Recycled processing area, workshop and retail are secondary area to achieve the idea of recycled, remade and resell. Recycled processing area on the basement for distribution and clearing the collected old clothes.

 

Retail on ground floor.Exhibition is runned on first and second floor with interactive activity which relate to fabric. Third andfourth floor work as education to spread the information of clothes recycled and the knowledge of old clothes remade to new products.
