Cities are getting dense and green spaces are decreasing as the urban landscape takes up most space. Studies have shown when people are exposed to natural environments, it makes them feel better, showing that nature enhances our well- being and that we should surround ourselves with more nature than we currently do. 

With having this knowledge, my brief was to create a nature escape space mixed in with a botanical spa retreat where people are able to escape to sanity, tranquility, calmness, relax and enjoy life. Nature helps us mentally, spiritually, emotionally and physically. All of these factors are important to have a happy life, and I want to create a space that enables this.
